Some prominent NBA athletes are still recuperating from injuries, taking necessary time off to recover, heal and rest from weariness and prolonged seasons that may have gone deep in the playoffs. Some, like Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash, among others, are in Brazil enjoying the 2014 FIFA World Cup. There are plenty, like LeBron James, who are on vacation, spending time with their families.
Still, there are those who are already hard at work, trying to improve for the 2014-15 NBA season.
Thank you God for another week to get better. #alwaystryingtogetbetter #blessed

Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap is grateful for the opportunity that each week presents to get better. While it could be presumed that he is referring to basketball, the sentiment is well suited to life in general.
With far more certainty, we can attest to the work that New York Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. is putting in this offseason, as he so graciously shares his offseason regimen with his social media followers.
Good morning world time to get this work in. http://t.co/MRUjSqZUpp

Most impressive, unrestricted free agent Nazr Mohammed—who recently spent his 16th season with the Chicago Bulls—is putting in the hard work to ensure he can return to the NBA for year No. 17.

This summer presents a lot of interesting possibilities with so many potential marquee free agents and a deep draft, all the more reason to put in the work to ensure your name is on a roster come late October.
