Only one Web site, my Web site, is reporting that LeBron James is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers. There is some skepticism out there, which is only natural.
When the mainstream media is not reporting something as fact, people have their doubts. And I am OK with that.
But I am standing behind my story, which I did this morning on 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland on the Kiley & Booms show.
This interview got a little testy, which also is OK for me. I have thick skin. And good sources.

92.3 The Fan refuses to put me on their air. I have been on every radio station in town , and out of town, also TV!
I have been featured by Yahoo Sports, Slam Magazine, SheridanHoops.com and a host of others.
Yet, 92.3 The Fan station manager Andy Roth has made it clear he doesn’t want someone of my intelligence on his airwaves.
Ken Carman is the best in the biz, and has had me on several times before Andy Roth instilled the ban on me.
It is sickening that a station calling themselves “The Fan” has black balled one of their most knowledgeable listeners.
I have personally interviewed some of the biggest names in Cleveland sports history. Men like Kenny Lofton, Jim Thome, Charles Nagy, Austin Carr have written the forwards for some of my books, and yet, 92.3 The Fan spits in my face every chance they get.
Adam the Bull and Fox have mocked me several times on air. It is a true shame!
I have had book signings and events at the Cavs game and Indians game, huge honors! And yet, 92.3 continues to ignore me.
They have blackballed me to the point, that they won’t even read my tweets.

Booms is a jackass. I’ve never heard a more condescending asshole in sports talk in my life, and that’s saying alot, considering the average sports talk radio show. The guy constantly interrupts people and cuts people off when they make a point that goes against his own agenda.
Love this report as I find it ballsy and daring.. But why completely dismiss the question of how close you are to the source/LeBron? You claim that they were disrespectful by interrupting you but make sure your not doing the same. Makes us question if you are even sure of yourself. But great report, and if it comes true, that’d be purely profound and you’d be seen as a prophet of journalism! And if it doesn’t prove to be correct.. Could be a huge flop
Uh…are you a little slow? You don’t KEEP sources if you expose them. He can’t give info on his source and possibly risk exposure. That would be bad for the source…and for the reporter. Some of you really don’t know how this works, do you?
What would make you question if Sheridan is “sure of himself”? He is the only guy reporting it and has said it’s 100% happening. What else does he need to do to convince YOU that he is “sure of himself”? 101%?
Come on…are thee really people out there this dumb?
And please get a grip…if he’s right, it’s because his source is legit and the result of years of experience in the business, not because he is some sort of “prophet of journalism”…and if he’s wrong – it’s because his source was misinformed or mislead Sheridan on purpose. It doesn’t mean he’s an “idiot” or that his career is over.

Whether your source is right or wrong about LeBron to Cleveland, I’m a huge fan just because you told Chuck Booms to shut up.
That guy is an insufferable troll who constantly interrupts people like the inebriated, inappropriate uncle everyone has who shows up for Christmas.
I’m also sick of hearing how if you are wrong about this…your career is over. Give me a break. Not only is that BS…it’s a sad commentary on these idiots who waste half their lives staring at Twitter and Facebook on the cell phones and taking selfies.

Hope you enjoy those even if LJ stays in MIA. Seems more and more realistic that he will stay in MIA by the minute. Although it is highly possible he finishes what he’s started in CLE.
More and more realistic he stays in Miami? I think you should stop listening to Stephen A. Smith because the majority of people are thinking he’s coming back to Cleveland, we’ll learn soon enough though

Wow, way to have thick skin and just gut out a tough interview. If you are as sure on your source as it sounds, and the story appears online in over the next 24 hours as predicted, I think you just pulled off something that only a select few journalists dare dream. You aren’t just a guy to listen to in the NBA, you are THE guy to listen to. And you told them the biggest story before it even happened.
If Chris is wrong that’s bad for him – at least he’s putting himself out there, though. What I want to know is how the hell ESPN will be able to justify not even mentioning Sheridan’s report if Sheridan turns out to be correct. How is it that only Sheridan found this out – and that no one else ascertained anything from the meeting other than that “nothing has been decided.”

Just wanted to back you on this interview. That guy kept interrupting you! I’ve listened to 1000000 radio interviews in my life and that was totally out of rhythm.
Loved Booms getting shut up. Been waiting for that since he got on local radio here.
I don’t understand how Yahoo, ESPN, and hoopsrumors.com just kind of ignored even mentioning the report.
Sadly the national media has to keep all the viewers tuned in on the edge of their seats to find out any news when they’re on. No one would bother tuning in if they all said “Yup, it’s a done deal Lebron is going back to Cleveland”. But Sheridan has confidence in his source and was the first to report it. Plus no one probably wants to give Sheridan credit for it.
The two guys he was on with are such douche bags. They were on in LA around 14 years ago and it was the worst show. It was when Fox sports somehow thought that LA would like a syndicated show and forced it on us. Luckily it only lasted a year or so. The nasally guy always talks over everyone the other douche is condescending. Completely annoying and I don’t know how Chris was able to stay on the line. i would have hung up. Both of the guys talk and act like they are better than anyone in every interview.
They are complete garbage and i cringe in the morning when i happen to change the station to their show. Im glad you feel my pain!
