The proverbial clock is ticking. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
With a four-year, $88 million dollar contract offer from the Houston Rockets waiting on the table; a three-day window within which said team has to match a three-year, $46 million offer sheet for restricted free agent Chandler Parsons; and the world seemingly waiting on the edge of their seats for LeBron James to formally announce — whether on his website, Twitter, TV or some other means — his intentions, there might not be any less suspense or anticipation as there is right now.
Yet, with so many eyes looking to Bosh to see what he might do — will he continue to wait or will he buckle under the pressure and sign with Houston, he seems content to carry on with his summer plans in spite of others’ hopes or expectations. Similarly, James has not wavered in his summer plans either — whether vacationing in the Bahamas, running his Nike skills academy or making plans to travel to the World Cup final in Brazil.
And, why shouldn’t they? They’re people too, right?
The answer to that is as simple as naming teams (like Houston, Cleveland and Miami) and other free agents (like Luol Deng, Chandler Parsons and Trevor Ariza, among others) who hang in the balance, awaiting their decisions.
Nevertheless, Bosh landed in Ghana Thursday with his family, as he is set to participate in the Basketball Without Borders program.

Bosh will spend the next few days helping to run the Sprite Ball Clinic in Ghana at the behest of Coca-Cola Company and NBA Africa. He took some time to address the media.
I love to work with kids so I definitely will have a good time teaching and playing basketball with them. I know Africans are very talented and it will be a privilege to help nurture and inspire them to develop their game and get opportunity to play in the NBA.
“Of course I’d like to stay with Miami Heat and especially together with Lebron James and Dwayne Wade because the three of us have achieved a lot together. But I’m in Ghana now to help kids play basketball and I can’t wait to begin.”
Even with Bosh away in Africa, the storylines have yet to cease. Our own Jacob Eisenberg posed the idea that Cleveland should, when LeBron officially commits, turn their efforts to acquiring Bosh in a sign-and-trade.
It will be interesting to see how things pan out in NBA free agency. Bosh, for better or for worse, seems to be amidst the epicenter of all that may happen even though he is physically far removed from it all.

Looks like Chris Sheridan was correct about LeBron to CLE.
However, The Godfather is up to something. Did he convince McRoberts to accept mini-MLE instead of MLE?
Did he convince Melo to take much less to come to MIA and now wants to convince LeBron to take less?
Grant Hill just said on Mike and Mike, that if he was Bosh, he’d be on the phone to LeBron every hour.
However, if I’m Bosh, I’d have taken the HOU offer already, regardless of LeBron’s decision.
Why is Bosh willing to forfeit 10s of million (over 4 years) and Melo won’t, and he’s never won a championship?
