We have seen a lot of chatter on the Internet today about the Minnesota Timberwolves’ efforts to trade Kevin Love.
The Cleveland Cavaliers seems to be offering the most, with a package built around Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett — the two most recent overall No. 1 picks. Cleveland also holds the rights to three 2015 first-round draft picks, their own, the Grizzlies’ and the Heat’s. If they lump two of those into their package, they will win the Love sweepstakes, IMHO.
Word has leaked out that Chicago and Denver are also in the running, and we have known for weeks that Golden State’s refusal to part with Klay Thompson has been a dealbreaker.
So when is this deal going to go down?
Sooner rather than later is what I said in this interview with Dan Bickley on KTAR 98.7 Sports in Phoenix.

Won’t CLE have to wait until 30 days after Wiggins signed, before trade with Minny could go through?
So if trade happens, who takes responsibility for supervising Wiggins during that time?
I really don’t think Minny could pass on Wiggins deal, even if CLE offers ZERO 2015 picks. He’s a potential superstar. Bulls not willing to give up Noah, so only real Star is Wiggins. Wiggins would also be a BIG National draw for Minny. Also Bennett finally looking good.
Minny is just playing games to up pricetag.
