Over the past summer, we learned just how big of a Kobe Bryant fan Brandon Jennings truly is. The Detroit Pistons point guard received plenty of criticism when he openly stated that Bryant is greater than Michael Jordan, but that hasn’t stopped him from showing unwavering loyalty to his favorite player of all-time, and that trend continued on Tuesday after reading the controversial ESPN article about why Bryant is going to be the reason for the Los Angeles Lakers’ downfall.
Espn is a joke with that article about Kobe Bryant. WOW!!!!!!! Really

The way y’all feel bout Michael Jordan is the same way I feel about Kobe so chill. I just respect greatness

It’s refreshing (or unusual, to say the least) in the sense that you don’t often see a player willingly admit that he idolizes a current player who is still in the league. After all, the NBA is where James Harden thinks he’s the best all-around player in the league and Jordan Crawford thinks he’s better than Jordan. Most want to believe that they are better than the other, and will not go to the extent that Jennings has gone to defend the case of Bryant. That said, many young players grew up watching the greatness of Bryant, so the respect they have for one of the best players of the past decade is certainly understandable.
As for the article that Jennings is referring to, he’s certainly not the only one who was upset by what was written.
