After struggling out of the gates to start the season and creating all kinds of media drama, the Cleveland Cavaliers finally appear to be finding their stride.
LeBron James and crew started the season 1-3 before winning four straight games, followed by four straight losses. It was a much-uneven effort on both ends at times, but in the blink of an eye, they have turned things around and are in the midst of an eight-game winning streak – all against Eastern Conference teams – after beating the Toronto Raptors 105-101 on Tuesday.
James carried the offense, scoring 35 points on 12-of-21 shooting from the field, including two-of-five from the 3-point line. The long ball was significant on this particular night: the forward tied Mark Price for the most 3-pointers made in Cavaliers history with 802. Recognizing the feat, Price reached out to James through twitter for congratulatory words:
Congrats @KingJames on tying my Cavs record for most 3 pointers made. I will enjoy sharing the top spot at least till you break it next game

James kindly replied to the former player:
@Mark25Price Thanks Mark! You’re a Legend over here in Cleveland forever. #GoCavs #TheLand

He also thanks the fans along the way:
