Take a look at five of the many great deals you can find this week for NBA tickets.
Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers
If you’re in LA, you can catch Blake Griffin and the Clippers take on the Indiana Pacers for as little as $7 a ticket on Wednesday, December 17.
Blake Griffin is having another monster year, and he has the highlight reel of dunks to prove it. But Griffin is steadily improving other parts of his game, including his perimeter shooting. While Griffin’s overall shooting numbers are down, his percentages from 15- and 20- have gotten better this season. Right now, Griffin is making 38.7% of his shots from 20- and 27.6 of his shots from 15-. And although he’s only taken 11 three point attempts, he’s made a staggering 63.6% of them. None of them were bigger than this one last week against the Phoenix Suns:
Yeah, Griffin is an even bigger scoring threat thanks to his improved jumper, and he gets an enticing matchup against the Indiana Pacers at home tonight. You can see Griffin and the Clippers play the Pacers at the Staples Center for just $7 a ticket.
Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics
Rajon Rondo remains one of the NBA’s elite point guards, and you can see him and the Celtics face the Orlando Magic in Boston on Wednesday, December 17 for just $16 a seat.
Since the 2010-2011 season, two players lead the NBA with nine recorded triple-doubles. One is LeBron James, and the other is Rajon Rondo. This season, Rondo has already recorded three triple-doubles. He’s leading the league in assists per game and is the best rebounding guard in basketball, pulling down a career best 7.5 a game. Every player is a threat to post a triple-double on any given night, but it’s especially true with Rondo given his impressive skill set.
Rondo faces a tough test in the long, athletic backcourt of the Orlando Magic. Victor Oladipo, Evan Fournier and Elfrid Payton are all solid defenders that should challenge Rondo’s playmaking abilities. You can see Rondo up close and personal tonight at the TD Garden when the Celtics and Magic play for just $16 apiece.
Kyle Lowry, Toronto Raptors Tickets
One of the biggest reasons why the Toronto Raptors have the best record in the Eastern Conference is Kyle Lowry, and if you’re in Detroit this Friday, you can see him play the Pistons for just $3.
Kyle Lowry has been the key to Toronto’s continued success in the Eastern Conference this season. DeMar DeRozan has seen his production decline from last year, but Lowry has picked up the slack. Lowry is averaging career highs in points (19.6, which leads the team), assists (7.6, 7th in the league) and he’s also pulling in 4.7 rebounds a game. Lowry’s A/TO ratio is also in the top ten, and for a team that doesn’t average a ton of assists, Lowry’s ability to get his own offense while creating for others is invaluable.
Lowry is giving John Wall a run for his money as the top point guard in the Eastern Conference this season, and if you’re in Detroit this Friday, you can see the Raptors face the Pistons for just $3 a ticket.
LaMarcus Aldridge, Portland Trail Blazers Tickets
LaMarcus Aldridge and the Blazers head to New Orleans for a matchup with the Pelicans, and you can see him square off against Anthony Davis this Saturday, December 20, for just $7 a ticket.
Because the Western Conference is so crowded, a lot of players can fly under the radar. One of those guys is LaMarcus Aldridge, who has been a double-double machine in the month of December. Of Portland’s 8 games so far this month, Aldridge has double-doubles in six of them. They lost in the two games he failed to grab 10 rebounds (he was one short both times). He’s put up some monster games this month, including a 23/14 performance in a win over the Spurs.
Aldridge has helped Portland stay hot in an ultra competitive Western Conference, and he’ll have a tough matchup with early MVP candidate Anthony Davis on Saturday. You can find tickets for the Trail Blazers vs. Pelicans for as low as $7.
Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards are even more dangerous now that Bradley Beal is back in the lineup. You can see him and the Wizards take on the Phoenix Suns Sunday for just $6.
Sharpshooting guard Bradley Beal started the season on the injured list for Washington, but he has returned to make the Wizards even more potent. Since Beal came back, Washington is 11-4 and are in the middle of a five-game winning streak. While Beal isn’t contributing as consistently as one might expect, he’s shown flashes of being close to 100%. He’s averaging 15 points a game and has gone over 20 points four times since returning. Beal is only going to get better with more reps and more playing time.
Beal will get another chance to keep the Wizards streaking on Sunday, December 21 when Goran Dragic and the Phoenix Suns visit the nation’s capital. You can see the Wizards battle the Suns for the low price of just $6 a ticket.
So to recap the amazing players you can see at amazing prices:
Player | Opponent | Price |
Kyle Lowry | Detroit Pistons | $3 |
Bradley Beal | Phoenix Suns | $6 |
Blake Griffin | Indiana Pacers | $7 |
LaMarcus Aldridge | New Orleans Pelicans | $7 |
Rajon Rondo | Boston Celtics | $16 |

Just because you can buy a ticket for those prices doesn’t mean you can actually “see” those players from your seat without the assistance of a service dog and the Hubble Telescope. Nice try.
