The NBA has partnered up with Kumho Tire to bring something extra to the 2015 All-Star Weekend in New York City/Brooklyn this year. Kumho Tire has also announced their comprehensive plans to bring a large scale creative throughout the city leading up to the events of the weekend.
Carmelo Anthony will serve as their brand ambassador for the campaign, and will be featured throughout Kumho’s creative and promotions.
Anthony is a seven-time All-Star, and is the face of the franchise with the New York Knicks of course. So, what better athlete to post all over the city than Melo?
But, today’s photo goes out to the first-ever All-Star themed subway cars that will be wrapped inside and out that feature images of Melo and the 2015 All-Star logo.
Let’s take a look at the subway cars below that were released on Friday. Photo credit goes to David Dow, NBAE/Getty Images.

The NBA and Kumho Tire have more about the events and activities, including your chance to play Anthony in a game of H-O-R-S-E, per the press release from the NBA:
The activities will tip off today in Times Square, as Kumho unveils the first-ever NBA All-Star 2015-themed subway cars, featuring Anthony. Kumho Tire is taking over the S (shuttle) train between Times Square and Grand Central stations with themed subway cars, which are wrapped both inside and outside. To celebrate the new subway cars, Kumho will also host an interactive fan experience at the Times Square subway station beginning Jan. 26, featuring a digital version of the arcade classic “Pop-A-Shot” game.
In February, Kumho will take over the most recognizable spaces in and around Times Square and Pennsylvania Station, with giant dynamic digital billboards and other promotional signage at NASDAQ, Reuters, Penn Plaza and the Times Square Digital Twins.
Kumho will also launch a “Prove your Move” social media promotion where fans can submit photos or videos on the company’s Twitter and Instagram to win a chance to play a game of H-O-R-S-E against Anthony during NBA All-Star. Fans can visit www.KumhoUSA.com/ProveYourMove for more details.
