The Cavaliers vs. Suns game went down on Tuesday, which features top players like LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, and with David Blatt coaching the Cavs. In the game, Love spent the fourth quarter on the bench. Markieff Morris managed 15 of his 21 tries on the basket. It was a tight game, which ended up in a 107-100 win, in favor of the Suns. This was the 6th straight loss for the Cavaliers, totaling to 9, out of their 10 last games. Even though the Cavaliers were beaten, J.R Smith led them in the shot attempts. It was surprising that LeBron’s team was beaten. Other than the sixth consecutive loss for the Cavaliers, here are 3 other things we learned from the game.
1. Mo Williams is the Best in the NBA?
Well, this might not be exactly true, but currently, William is the leading player in the total, highest individual points this season. He still is the top player with the highest solo points, even after losing 52 points in Indiana, on the Pacers Tuesday. Even though the Timberwolves clinched the game with a 110-101 shot lead, Mo Williams was a 6-of-11 from behind the arc, and a 19-of-33 inside the field.
2. The Wizards can take anyone in the NBA
The Wizards won 101-93 against Spurs on Tuesday, in Washington. This was the first win over San Antonio in Washington, since November 12, 2005. Over this time, 17 games were played between the two. Having secured that win, the Wizards has enhanced to 26-12, meaning that they have the second after the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference. The difference between the Atlanta Hawks and the Wizards is only four games. But, the Wizards boast of the 7th toughest defense in the NBA.
John Wall, is a wizard, and the best point guard in the conference. He has gained 25 points, along with 8 assists against the Spurs. Kevin Seraphin, who has 17 points and 8 rebounds Tuesday, and Kris Humphries, who has 10 points, and 8 rebounds Tuesday are the heavyweights of Washington. These are such players that contribute majorly in Washington. Even though the Wizards aren’t as stacked s the Bulls, or as interesting as the Hawks, they are a team to watch.
3. DeMarcus Cousins and Al Horford are all great in many things. On Tuesday, Horford got into the records with his first triple double, scoring 21 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds. And surprisingly, this was against the 76ers. The Hawks won a 105-87 in Philadelphia. It should be noted that this was the 9th consecutive win for the Hawks, earning them a 30-8, so impressive. On the other hand, DeMarcus Cousins missed to record a personal triple double by just a single assist. This went down in Sacramento. He gained 32 points, 9 assists and 16 rebounds. The Kings lost to the Mavericks in the 108-104 game.
These were the things that were noted at the end of the game. With all the tough games displayed by the players and teams, it would be difficult to select the All Star team of this year. All the players gave their best during the game.
