On Thursday night, Al Horford was named as a reserve for the Eastern Conference All-Star team. Also chosen as reserves were teammates Jeff Teague and Paul Millsap.
But, instead of being with those teammates to celebrate their selections, Horford was hanging out with another teammate at a movie premiere.
Kent Bazemore and Horford were at a Regal Cinemas movie theater in Atlanta hosting the premiere of the new SpongeBob Squarepants movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
Bazemore posted this photo to his Instagram at the premiere.
“Myself and my guy @al_horford hosting the premiere of the Spongebob movie: Sponge out of water in 3D!!! I’m hype!! #MyGapToothedBrethren”, he captioned under the photo.
The best part about the photo is the kid on the far right in the front in the red shirt, just giving one of the best faces for the camera in history.
Also, Bazemore is “hype” not only because he gets to host the premiere, but he probably actually loves SpongeBob. And hey, that’s cool, I just think it’s funny. They’re also “gap-toothed brethren”, which is hilarious in its own right.
Something else that’s hilarious? Your computer knows who SpongeBob is, and recognizes that that’s an actual name. What is this world coming to??
