As crazy as this sounds, we are already approaching the half-way mark of the NBA season, and that means the All-Star game is right around the corner. The latest All-Star game voting returns were released on Thursday, with not much having changed since the second returns. The starters seem to be virtually set, which means it’s time to discuss who gets in as reserves (I wrote about some of the top candidates here, which included Draymond Green). Players around the league are

SH Blog: LeBron’s Rehab; Hawks’ Sale; Deron Williams’ Injury
LeBron James Traveling for Rehab LeBron James has been rehabilitating his back and sore knee for the past week and is expected to miss another week to boot. The interesting thing to note is not how he is rehabbing it, but where. James spent part of this past week doing rehab in Miami, taking advantage of the warmer weather. And, while he has been avoiding sitting on the bench during Cavs games to spare his ailing back, it is for the warmer
Photo of the Day: Bulls Visit the White House
The Chicago Bulls took a nice trip through the White House on Thursday on their day off. The team is in Washington, D.C. for their road game on Friday against the Wizards. I don’t know much about politics or the White House, but it looks like a few of them could stay behind and would fit right in with Mr. Obama and his staff. [Read more…]
MVP Rankings, Edition VI: Mozgov the MVP, In a Way
Greetings from New York, where Langston Galloway is the new face of the New York Knicks, and where Phil Jackson’s apologists are applauding the fact that his addition by subtraction trade of J.R. In other local news, the New York Times invited its readers to find better things for Scott Cacciola to do other than cover the ‘Bockers. His editors feel sorry for him. Memo to Phil: It is one

The Cleveland Cavaliers are making moves. Specifically, general manager David Griffin is trying to go all in on the talented but flawed roster of his team right now. It started with the removal of Dion Waiters on late Tuesday night, as the guard had not lived up to the role as a starter or a bench player for the team. For him, they were able to acquire J.R. Smith (who made a not-so-glorious debut on Wednesday with an zero-of-five shooting performance),

Photo of the Day: Rick Ross Is a True Heat Fan
Rapper Rick Ross is from Miami, so of course he’s a Heat fan. Not only that, he might be their single greatest fan in the entire world. You’re probably wondering why, and that’s what this Photo of the Day is here for. Ross decided he would get something that (hopefully) no one else has on their face: a Miami Heat tattoo. I understand if you’ve got a tattoo to support your favorite sports team, but your face? Never in a million
