We know that professional athletes are very well compensated for what they do. We also know that sometimes, what professional athletes spend their money on and how much they spend on certain things can get a little ridiculous.
I have not seen this before that I can recall, but Denver Nuggets guard Ty Lawson posted a picture of something he bought for himself on Friday night.
He posted this photo of his new chain on Instagram.
“Smurf gang who’s down?? #heartoverheight#6footandunderclub #butwillstillgiveyoubuckets#wasssupdoe!!!!”, Lawson captioned about his chain.
This just goes to show that you can literally have anything made if you pay enough money for it. I’m pretty sure that you aren’t going to walk into a jewelry store and find a Smurf hanging from a silver chain, with diamond encrusted pants and hat.
He’s even got the hashtag on there with the “Smurf Gang” encrusted!! And hey, Lawson is smaller than your average NBA player, but he’s no Smurf. They were tiny, like up to our shins in the TV show.
Anyways, I think the chain and idea are pretty cool, even if it’s a little overboard. I’m under six feet, can you have one sent to me Ty?
