In honor of the NBA All-Star Game in New York City this coming weekend, the NBA has released what they’re calling the “History of NYC Hoops” map.
It is a collection of nearly every notable or iconic basketball figure to come out of New York on the map that includes, photos, highlights, and descriptions of the biggest and best from the Big Apple.
Here is a small portion of the map that was released Monday by the NBA and on NBA.com. You can click here to see the full version of the interactive map here, where you can click to enlarge it and are able to scroll through every tiny detail.
The map is also available on the NYC All-Star app and on NBA.com.
It features information on more than 500 NYC legends, including highlights of more than 150 icons and 140 photos. High schools and even blacktops famous in New York are represented on the map, which highlights each of the five boroughs: Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Staten Island and Manhattan.
