Tuesday lived up to expectations with two great NBA games. The Mavericks are out after falling short in Houston, and those amazing Spurs prevailed in L.A. to put the Clippers on the brink.
Tonight’s doubleheader is interesting, if not as spectacular. Few observers thought the Nets and Hawks would be tied 2-2 at this stage, and while the Grizzlies are in position to win their series, the Blazers are dangerous with their backs to the wall.
DK matches your first deposit 100% (up to $600) with bonus funds that convert to cash, plus you get a FREE entry in the $80K Sharpshooter — the top score earns $5,000 and 6,155 of 30,651 teams will get paid. Win even more in the $85K Crossover, normally a $27 buy-in. That contest has 746 guaranteed cash prizes ($10,000 for first) and a maximum of only 3,591 teams.
Damian Lillard $8000 is the top choice at PG, because Mike Conley (face) is out. Beno Udrih $3800 played 24 minutes on his sore ankle but Nick Calathes $3100 started on Monday and was more productive. Courtney Lee $4500 is sharp and despite a tender hamstring, Tony Allen $4300 keeps contributing. Marc Gasol $8600 has been the difference in this series, as Robin Lopez $3000 is no match.
LaMarcus Aldridge $9600 is as tough as they come, getting his team this far despite injuries to both hands. He’s not exactly dominating Zach Randolph $6500, though Z-Bo has been relatively quiet. Also playing hurt much of the time, Nicolas Batum $7000 is talented, but he’ll be guarded by Allen and missed ten shots in Game 4. The sneaky DFS play is Meyers Leonard $3600, who just double-doubled (13 & 13) in 35 minutes and remains a bargain. C.J. McCollum $4800, another unsung hero for Portland, scored 44 points in the last two games.
All credit to Brooklyn and Deron Williams $6300 for coming back from that 0-2 start to even their series. D-Will ignored his sore knee in a superb 35-point effort on Monday, but I just don’t envision that happening again, especially in Atlanta. Brook Lopez $8300 has been tremendous in every game, and is a big factor again with Al Horford $7400 (finger) less than 100%. Joe Johnson $7500 keeps racking up fantasy points and Thaddeus Young $6500 is playing very well. For the money, Bojan Bogdanovic $4900 is worth considering. The Hawks are at home, with Paul Millsap $8100 and Jeff Teague $7000 more than capable of taking over. DeMarre Carroll $6500 is underrated at both ends of the floor and we know Kyle Korver $6100 can get hot.
There are no $10000+ superstars on the board tonight, and very few extreme bargains. My sample lineup is balanced, both price-wise and using players from all four teams.
