Andre Iguodala wrapped up the most incredible year of his career exactly a month ago when he helped the Golden State Warriors capture a championship for the first time in 40 years over the Cleveland Cavaliers and took the Finals MVP trophy in the process.
He made it happen when Steve Kerr decided to insert the long-time veteran into the starting lineup in favor of Andrew Bogut after playing the wingman off the bench for the entire season.
So naturally, Iguodala was “disturbed” after reading a report stating that Kerr doesn’t anticipate starting him come next season. Here’s the response Iguodala tweeted:
Then trade me… https://t.co/eahYRKAKYf

It was basically the kind of reaction Iguodala would never publicly show even if he really felt that way, so plenty figured something was up. Still, he got plenty of responses from his followers and decided to diffuse the joke quickly:
Ha! Got eeeeem! Yall know I’m playing #weStillSchampionship

He didn’t stop there, though.
Aight the only way I’ll still come off the bench… 1. I wanna left handed set of golf clubs 2. Some Cambodian breast milk…

And Steve Kerr gotta walk to juniors and get me some cheesecake…

Thanks for the quick entertainment and making my job easier, Andre.
