Remember when Klay Thompson set a record for scoring in a single quarter last season with 37 points in the third quarter against the Sacramento Kings?
It’s easy to remember the sharp shooter making history with an unbelievable shooting display that has literally never been seen before, but it’s not as easy for all to remember who he did much of the damage against.
The answer is this: Thompson pretty much did it against anyone that was put in front of him on that particular night. Included in the list of players he scored against was then-rookie-guard Nik Stauskas, who reminisced on Tuesday with a fan about that particular moment and just how difficult it was for him to guard Thompson:

Although he has yet to prove it in the NBA, Stauskas came into the league as a pretty sharp shooter himself. He’ll have plenty of opportunities with the Philadelphia 76ers next season to prove that he is a much better shooter than the 32.2 percent he shot from beyond the arc last season.
