The Cleveland Cavaliers have mostly taken care of business this summer in terms of bringing back core pieces that helped bring the team to the NBA Finals last season.
They remain in a standoff situation with Tristan Thompson, who reportedly turned down a good deal of money hoping for more. They did, however, come to an agreement with J.R. Smith, who has agreed to sign with the team for another two years.
On board with the signing was LeBron James, who was glad to see the return of the gunslinger:
Welcome back brother @TheRealJRSmith! Happy you’re sticking around. #TheLand #StriveForGreatness
