The Golden State Warriors received their very fat championship rings on Tuesday before the start of their season opener against the New Orleans Pelicans and soon after, Stephen Curry played like he was ready for another MVP season, scoring 24 points in the first quarter – the most he has ever scored in a single quarter – on an array of ridiculous shots:
Curry has been lighting it up since the beginning of the preseason and appears to be primed for a career year – as hard as that is to believe.
Of course, plenty around the league were glued to the television on opening night and reacted to Curry’s ridiculous shooting display:
My man Steph out here giving people buckets!!! ????
