The Los Angeles Lakers played the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, and that meant another ugly-shooting performance was on deck for Kobe Bryant.
The shooting guard has been historically bad for someone who has taken at least 16 shots from the field heading into the game, averaging an unfathomable 33.1 percent shooting from the field in his first 10 games.
That’s now down to 31.1 percent after his 1-of-14 shooting performance against the Warriors. Here are some of the shots he took and missed during the contest:

Incredibly, Bryant said he wasn’t worried about his shooting after the game. In fact, he put the blame on the quality of his team and what they are running systemically, which happens to be him putting up a lot of ill-advised shots:

Bryant’s delusion is surprising because you simply expect him to know better at this stage of his career about his ineffectiveness on the floor and how his overall play is causing a major stunt in growth for the young talents on the roster. Even players he faces are surprised by how much he has fallen off:
Several Warriors players were shocked at how far Kobe has fallen. Lots of respect for him in Dubs locker room. They grew up on Black Mamba

You know how bad it is when one of his biggest supporters, Brandon Jennings, thinks it’s time for Bryant to hang it up:
