In real life, the most interesting of Monday’s eight NBA games is the 18-0 Warriors visiting Utah. From a daily fantasy perspective, it’s not as compelling. Every opponent wants to end that record unbeaten streak and the Jazz will give it their maximum effort.
Stephen Curry $10800 is expensive, and while Draymond Green $7700 triple-doubled on Saturday against a Kings team missing its best player, he’s up against Rudy Gobert $6300 and Derrick Favors $7100 tonight.
The two late starts look slightly better for DFS value. DeMarcus Cousins $10600 has now missed three games with a sore back and is questionable against Dallas. Without him, George Karl shortens the rotation — Rudy Gay $7200 and Rajon Rondo $9000 have the highest usage — but the prices are better on role players Kosta Koufos $5200, Omri Casspi $4900, Darren Collison $4400 and Marco Belinelli $4400.
The Mavericks are very attractively priced, especially if Cousins sits out. Dirk Nowitzki $6400, Deron Williams $6100 and Zaza Pachulia $5900 are the most consistent; Raymond Felton $3200 is a sneaky play because J.J. Barea (ankle) is out.

Yesterday, the Clippers rode Blake Griffin $9100, Chris Paul $8700 and J.J. Redick $4400 to hold off the Timberwolves. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute $3000 started at SF, where three others have disappointed. Tonight they host Portland. Damian Lillard $9400 vs. CP3 is a marquee matchup, and C.J. McCollum $6600 can score, but the Blazers are no match up front. Mason Plumlee $6200 was in foul trouble last game and Meyers Leonard $4200 played less than 22 minutes in his return from a shoulder injury.
When Russell Westbrook $10600 and Kevin Durant $9900 are both healthy, the Thunder can score on anyone. Atlanta will try to beat them with depth; Jeff Teague $6500 and Dennis Schroder $5000 share the PG responsibility while Paul Millsap $7700 and Al Horford $6400 work inside.
For once James Harden $10300 wasn’t a one-man team, as the Rockets had four other players score in double figures and beat the Knicks in overtime. Patrick Beverley $3900 is now starting; his defensive skills may slow down Reggie Jackson $7000 tonight. Clint Capela $5100 has taken over from Terrence Jones $5700 as the starting PF and so far, it’s paying off. Dwight Howard $7200, cleared to play back-to-back, will do battle with Andre Drummond $8900.
Jason Kidd shook up the Bucks on Sunday, with Jerryd Bayless $4900 getting the start and 43 minutes while Michael Carter-Williams $5100 got 15 minutes off the bench. O.J. Mayo $4000 started at SG as Jabari Parker $4400 also moved to the second unit. Khris Middleton $5700 and Greg Monroe $6900 are sweet prices at home against the struggling Nuggets. Gary Harris $4100 (concussion) is questionable, so Randy Foye $3000 might benefit.
Back home from a 2-2 road trip and well rested, the Bulls are in tough against the Spurs. Jimmy Butler $8000 has a sore foot, Pau Gasol $6800 wants more touches, Derrick Rose $5900 is inconsistent and Nikola Mirotic $5700 will have to deal with LaMarcus Aldridge $6600. I also like Kawhi Leonard $8600 a lot as the affordable alternative to KD.
Boston at Miami may be the least exciting game except for bargain-hunters at SG, where Gerald Green $4000 is expected to start again while Luol Deng (hamstring) recovers. Hassan Whiteside $8000 could have a big night unless the Celtics go small.
