Evan Fournier has slowed considerably in production since his torrid start through November, but the guard is still in the midst of a career year under new coach Scott Skiles.
On Wednesday, Fournier netted 15 points on 4-of-7 shooting from the field against fellow countryman Nicolas Batum and helped put the Charlotte Hornets away 113-98 at home. To signify the relevance of two French players who are on top of their games face each other, NBA.com posted the following: France’s Hottest Players Meet: Fourner vs Batum. It’s a clear typo that that happens to the best of us, but Fournier wasn’t thrilled about the mistake either way:
