For tonight at least, coach George Karl has the support of Kings management and DeMarcus Cousins (suspension) will not play after his temper tantrum on Wednesday. Unhappiness is no surprise in Sacramento; Willie Cauley-Stein $3000 is whining about playing time and Rudy Gay $6000 was campaigning to be traded.
Both men will be prominent tonight as they host Orlando. Rajon Rondo $7800, Gay and Darren Collison $4800 should do most of the scoring, with WCS and Kosta Koufos $3000 likely to share the minutes at center and Quincy Acy $3400 getting extra run. Marco Belinelli $3400 (back) may not be 100% if he returns, so Omri Casspi $4000 is also playable.
For the Magic, Jason Smith $3500 will start again for Nikola Vucevic (groin) and C.J. Watson $3400 gains value if Elfrid Payton $5800 (elbow) can’t go. Neither team plays much D, so Victor Oladipo $7200 and Evan Fournier $5900 could rack up big numbers.
On a star-studded Friday, the over/under is 220 or more for several other games. However, those big guns are far more expensive in daily fantasy.

The $180K Sharpshooter is only a $3 buy-in (FREE with your initial deposit at DraftKings) where the top 14,080 finishers (from up to 68,997 teams) win cash. First place earns $12,000. The deadline is 7:00 EST; enter early and make lineup changes until each player’s game begins.
Everyone’s pumped for Portland at Golden State. Oakland native Damian Lillard $9800 played the game of his life (51 PTS, 7 AST, 6 STL, 0 TO) last time he faced Stephen Curry $10300. The Warriors lost by 32, so they’reout for revenge and to extend their NBA record 46-game home unbeaten streak. Draymond Green $8000 should be recovered from an illness and I prefer Klay Thompson $7000 to C.J. McCollum $7100.
Russell Westbrook $10800 and Kevin Durant $10500 will probably sweep the season series with Minnesota and might earn those salaries, but only if the young Timberwolves play well. Karl-Anthony Towns $7900 has yet to have a big game against the Thunder and garbage time is possible.
Anthony Davis $9800 towers above the PF list and the Grizzlies are declawed. Mike Conley $6400 (foot) and Zach Randolph $6600 (knee) are questionable, Marc Gasol (foot) and Mario Chalmers (Achilles) done for the year. Jrue Holiday $8300 and the big fella appear to be unstoppable.
The Celtics did a nice job on James Harden $10600 when they met in November. Dwight Howard $8100 was also quiet in that home defeat. Boston has a deep, cheap rotation if you can guess the hot hand(s) among Jae Crowder $5500, Evan Turner $5000, Avery Bradley $4700 and Marcus Smart $4300.
Nets at 76ers is meaningless in real life, but Thaddeus Young $6600 has double-doubled in both previous meetings with his former team and Brook Lopez $7800 was superb (35 points, seven blocks) in Toronto after taking a game off to rest.
Pau Gasol $8200 and Hassan Whiteside $8200 share the top salary at C and meet “head-on,” though Amare Stoudemire $3400 continues to start for Miami. Taj Gibson $4400 got in foul trouble against the Spurs last night and should be fresh.
Point guard is ridiculous tonight. Chris Paul $9700 against the Knicks is a mismatch and I’ve touted Kemba Walker $8600 four straight times at lower salaries. Though the Hornets should win, Andre Drummond $7900 could be trouble.
Today’s sample lineup has three affordable Kings surrounding Davis. The choices at PG and SG are difficult, though for about $17-18000 you almost can’t go wrong. Decisions there determine cap room to fill the Util spot — using Lillard and Oladipo leaves enough for Turner.
