LeBron James notched a triple-double against the Denver Nuggets on Monday, but the primary subject of discussion after the game had nothing to do with his performance on the court and everything to do with what he did with his phone.
It was revealed early during the day that the forward, for whatever reason, unfollowed the official Cleveland Cavaliers twitter account. Expecting some kind of explanation, a reporter asked James after the game why he decided to unfollow his team’s account, to which he didn’t provide any answer. Instead, James looked as if he was caught off-guard by the question and even stuttered his way into ending the post-game interview abruptly:

James has caused quite a stir through the course of this season with his social media activities – first with various cryptic tweets and then with a video clip of him working out with former teammate Dwyane Wade. For what it’s worth, Wade didn’t think much of what LeBron did:

ESPN’s Dan Le Batard saw James’ postgame reaction to the question and loved what he saw:
Wheeeeee RT @KennyDucey: When asked if he unfollowed Cavs, LeBron says “next question,” https://t.co/OhlHN7ol3j pic.twitter.com/RhpNj5gWnF”

It’s unclear what James is thinking these days about the Cavaliers, but something certainly appears to be amiss. It’s one thing to unfollow the team’s twitter account. It’s another to be flabbergasted when asked to explain his decision to do so.
