There is simply no denying that the NBA is one of the most exciting and grueling sports online. Most people think that the NFL is one of the most grueling sports in the world. Sure, there is a lot more hard-hitting action that takes places in the NFL, but when you look at the schedule demands of the NBA players things get exhausting and tiring on a whole new level. Teams are in different cities, in the air, and on the road around three-quarters of the time.
This type of play schedule along with talented players can really make for interesting betting odds and upsets. That being said if you are going to be involved in the upcoming playoffs or NBA season there are going to be a few things that you need to know beforehand.
The Warriors Going For Five
Love them or hate them, you cannot deny that the Golden State Warriors have had quite the success over the past couple of years. There have been some upset and there have been some shocks along the same, but no one can deny them their due process. In fact, if they make it to the finals this year it will be their fifth consecutive time to do so. There is only one other franchise besides them that would have been able to accomplish such a feat. The other team to do this was the Boston Celtics back in 1957 through 66. They have been the only team to make into the playoffs 10 straight seasons. The Warriors, however, are one of five franchises with a streak of four straight NBA final trips so far. If this streak continues they go be a team to keep an eye on.
Watch Out For The Bucks
Many fans do not believe in omens. Some do believe! Whatever side of the fence you fall on it really doesn’t matter. That stats cannot be denied and the Bucks are the only team in the whole NBA to have 45 double-digit wins this season. This is currently the most in the NBA and says something about their offensive abilities. There are only four teams in the history of the NBA that have been able to do this in the past. This was the Lakers back in 16-17, the Warriors during the 16 and 17 season, the 1970 – 1971 Bucks, and the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls. If you believe in omens and superstition, you have to consider the fact that all four of the teams mentioned above went on to win the NBA championship for that perspective year.
How Will James Harden Factor In?
Anyone that is looking to take advantage of no deposit casino bonuses or place a bet on any NBA game has to factor in James Harden. This Houston player has been on a role as of late and that much is pretty evident with his illustrious points standing. In fact, Mr. Harden is about to join an elite club of players before him. As of right now, Harden has racked up 2,818 points. He only needs to score an additional 182 points throughout the playoffs and he will be the tenth player in NBA history to do this.
If Harden accomplishes this he will join the ranks of Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain. Kareem, Abdul-Jabbar, Rick Barry, Elgin Baylor, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Bob McAdoo, and Shaq.
Many San Antonio fans have been just hanging on to the edges of their seats waiting for Kawhi Leonard’s return. Leonard’s season was cut a little shorter than anticipated when e tweaked his left knee while performing a jumper over Golden State’s Zaza Pachulia. When Leonard left the game, the Spurs were up by 23. Unfortunately, the lost the game, the series, and unfortunately, Leonard never made it back to the Spurs. He will, however, this year be starting in the playoffs for the Raptors. With a 32-game streak of double-digits and an average of 24.1 points per game it is safe to say that he might be a deciding factor of many of the upcoming games.
Watch Out For Steph
Steph Curry is leaving his mark on the NBA, as he is right on the heels of Ray Allen. Ray Allen was the NBA’s all-time three-point leader. This is a stat that only counts and accrues during the postseason, but Curry is nipping right at his heels and his long court game could be a deciding factor in many of the playoff games.
