Chicago Bulls big man Pau Gasol has helped the team get off to a quick start, going 4-1 in their first five games. The Spaniard was the key free agent signing the team made over the summer to help solidify an already solid frontcourt with Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson. Gasol had a busy summer. He signed with the Bulls after leaving behind Kobe Bryant in LA, and was also a member of Spain’s National Team that played in the FIBA
Photo of the Day: Raptors to Wear Purple Throwbacks from Inaugural Season
In a year full over new jerseys, new court designs and new replay centers, the Toronto Raptors decided to bring back something from the past to change things up a bit. The old school jerseys they haven’t worn in more than 15 years will come out of the closet for a matchup on Friday, November 7th when the Washington Wizards travel up north. The Raps will wear the original road purple unis for the first time since May 4, 1999.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are hoping to find some secrets to keeping their players healthy. Already missing superstars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, Perry Jones III left last night’s game against the Raptors with a knee injury. On top of them, Anthony Morrow, Jeremy Lamb and Andre Roberson are all out with injuries. When Jones III went down yesterday, the Thunder were down to only seven healthy players that dressed and were able to play. [Read more…]
Photo of the Day: The Dallas Mavericks Version of Run DMC
Chandler Parsons seems to be enjoying the short amount of time he’s spent in Dallas as a member of the Mavericks. Even though he’ll be paying for dinner on their road trips, he’s been fitting in quite well in his new digs. Parsons, along with Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis, has Dallas starting off the season on the right foot, who sit at 3-1 on the year after the one-point loss to San Antonio on the first night of the

Taj Gibson also missed the game with a sprained ankle suffered in the same game, leaving the Bulls a bit thin. Nearly every starter notched more than 30 minutes. Jimmy Butler,
