Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin was sent to the hospital on Sunday before their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with an infection in his elbow. The Clippers team doctor noticed the infection in his elbow just prior to the game as they landed in Oklahoma City and had Griffin sent to the hospital immediately for further evaluation. The Portland Trail Blazers are starting to fall back in the Western Conference Standings. They now sit No.4 in the playoff seeding, down from the No.2 seed from just a couple of weeks ago. Portland is coming off of a four-game East Coast road trip that was trimmed to three games when their matchup versus the Brooklyn Nets was postponed due to a winter storm.
