On Thursday night, Al Horford was named as a reserve for the Eastern Conference All-Star team. Also chosen as reserves were teammates Jeff Teague and Paul Millsap. The Cleveland Cavaliers extended their winning streak to eight games on Wednesday night with a 99-94 win over the visiting Portland Trail Blazers. The New York Knicks have been by far the most surprising team in the NBA, and not for a good reason. With Phil Jackson running things and bringing in his disciple in Derek Fisher to coach, no one saw this coming. They’re now 8-37, the worst team in the league, and just trade two of their better players away to the Cleveland Cavaliers for basically nothing. [Read more…]

In yet another drama-filled week in the NBA, Lance Stephenson has managed to find his way into the mix again. I’m a fan of tattoos for the most part. If they’re meaningful, and there’s a purpose behind them, then I’m all for it and really like the idea of marking your body permanently.
