A much needed bright spot for the Knicks; Tyson Chandler winning Defensive Player of the Year Honors. He had 45 first place votes (311 points), and was followed by Serge Ibaka who had 41 first-place votes (294 points) and and Dwight Howard, who had 186 points. The Knicks got blown out (literally) today in Miami, losing 100-67. Sadly enough, the game was worse then the score even showed. This seems to be one of those statistics that LeBron James critics would feed off of. However, it is worth mentioning, the only other players other than James himself to win multiple MVP’s and never win a championship are Karl Malone and Steve Nash, two of the all-time greats. We all know James is great, nobody is denying that. But if he does win his third MVP and flunks again in the playoffs, well, there really is no excuse.

Interesting, as this game has had little to no defense whatsoever. Durant has 18 points already (6:18, 2nd Quarter), and the DeMarcus Cousins has 16. The score is 52-47 Kings, but the scoring barrage has at least slowed a bit. They had a combined 75 points in the first quarter, while the Heat-Celtics game had 17 in the first combined. Maybe the Thunder are just taking this game easy and getting ready for the playoffs, so I’m not reading
