Victor Oladipo Has Facial Fracture, Out Indefinitely

Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo is out indefinitely after suffering a facial fracture in practice Thursday.  The Magic announced Friday that Oladipo took an inadvertent elbow to the face during a practice drill. The second-year guard will undergo a surgical procedure Saturday. There is no timetable for his return. Oladipo already was nursing a sprained MCL suffered in preseason that had prevented him from playing in any exhibition games. Kevin Durant Out Indefinitely With Foot Fracture

NBA MVP Kevin Durant is out indefinitely with a foot fracture. The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Sunday in a news release that their superstar forward has a Jones fracture in his right foot and that the typical course of action is surgery that requires six to eight weeks of recovery. Four Wizards Suspended After Exhibition Scrum With Bulls

When the Washington Wizards open their season on Oct. 29 at Miami, they will be shorthanded in the frontcourt. Four Wizards – including rotation bigs Nene and DeJuan Blair – were suspended one game Wednesday by the NBA for leaving the bench during Monday’s scrum with the Chicago Bulls in an exhibition game. Silver: New TV Deal “Will Have a Profound Effect” on Salary Cap
