When news broke that Kevin Durant would be sidelined indefinitely due to a foot fracture, there was much concern for the NBA’s reigning MVP. With an initial timetable projecting a six to eight week recovery, there were questions whether Durant would undergo surgery. With a decision made, Durant chose to have the fracture operated on as he underwent the procedure early on Thursday.
