Cap space isn’t a category in fantasy basketball. While I agree with Chris Sheridan that Memphis and Detroit both “won” yesterday’s big trade, that’s only in reality. [Read more…]
DraftStreet Diary: If You Like Freerolls, $2 Leagues Are Easier
Especially if you have never played in a daily fantasy league before, give it a try in the Sheridan Hoops Freeroll on February 1 and you could win $100 cash. There’s an additional $200 in consolation prizes for second through 15th place. [Read more…]
Fantasy Spin: Lakers Heating Up As Kobe Shoots Less, Passes More
Just call him Magic. Kobe Bryant (14 PTS, 11 AST, 8 REB) no longer cares about the scoring title, he wants to make the playoffs. In his fantastic career, Kobe has never dished out 39 assists in three games before, and L.A. has won all three. [Read more…]
DraftStreet Diary: It’s a One-Day Season; Anything Can Happen
Lessons learned on Monday? 1) You can’t win the $1,000 Survivor tournament if you get knocked out the first night. 2) Never be ‘sure’ about players. DraftStreet Diary: Trying a $1,000 Survivor Tournament
It’s a new week, with the bankroll reset to $100, and a $25 profit in the books from last week. The main focus of this daily feature is Salary Cap leagues, but we have had some success in Pick ‘Em contests and I really enjoy live Snake drafts when time permits. [Read more…]
Fantasy Spin: Celtics Win Game, Lose Rondo. What’s Next?
Without Rajon Rondo, who is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL, the Celtics got a triple-double from Paul Pierce (17 PTS, 13 REB, 10 AST) and an inspired Kevin Garnett (24 PTS, 11 REB, 4 AST, 3 BLK, 2 STL) as they somehow beat Miami in double overtime. [Read more…]
DraftStreet Diary: Early & Late Leagues on Sunday
I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s especially true on Sundays. If you don’t join the Guaranteed Prize Pool leagues early, they will fill up. [Read more…]
