Grizzlies Silence Thunder; Heat Clipped; Friday & Saturday Freerolls
Are we all believers now? The Grizzlies completely dominated in a 36-15 second quarter and finished strong for an impressive victory in Oklahoma City. [Read more…]
Knicks Stay Unbeaten; Spurs Edge Lakers
The 5-0 Knickerbockers had to step it up in the fourth quarter against the stubborn Magic. Carmelo Anthony led the way with 25 points and 8 boards, Raymond Felton added 21 with 5 assists, and J.R. Smith stayed hot with 21 off the bench. [Read more…]
Nash and D’Antoni Reunited; Grizzlies Burn Heat
It won’t be a Phil Jackson encore after all. Mike D’Antoni is the new coach of the Lakers. Dwyane Wade (illness) didn’t play, but Chris Bosh picked up the slack, leading all scorers with 24, and Ray Allen (17) had another solid night. Jeff Teague was impressive in defeat with 20 points and 11 assists,

Their star Kyrie Irving played (quite well) through a bout of food poisoning on Wednesday. Anderson Varejao has a sore knee, though we expect both in the lineup this evening. Rookie Dion Waiters has a deep thigh bruise, while fellow freshman Tyler Zeller, who has a fractured face, is being fitted for
