If you adopted my recommended lineup for last night’s 50K/$22 buy-in/$10,000 first prize, you are likely happy with the result. First of all, if you didn’t participate you missed out on significant overlay. Second, because there were very few standout performances and lots of major busts, the winning score was a mere 252.5 points by “Marblesnap”, just a half-point ahead of second place “paulpierce3434”. My recommended lineup scored 232.25 points, with only Robin Lopez/POR and Ersan Illyasova/MIL weighing the lineup
DraftStreet Fantasy Spin: Wednesday, March 5, 2014
Wednesday at DraftStreet means another chance to win $10,000 for a modest investment of $22, or less if you have qualified through a satellite. You can register for daily fantasy’s premier weekly NBA contest here if you already have a DraftStreet account. If you don’t have a DraftStreet account, you can sign up using this link . The Wednesday 50K is about half full as I write, and overlay is a possibility. You don’t want to miss this one. The NBA hardwood
DraftStreet: Tuesday, March 4, 2014
There is a relatively light six game schedule in the NBA tonight, but the quality is superb. There are no less than four clashes between playoff contenders, headlined by the Miami Heat traveling to Houston to take on the Rockets. LeBron James/MIA is coming off a tremendous game and Dwayne Wade/MIA is expected back. Tuesday also means that the NBA action at DraftStreet is gearing up for another Wednesday 50K, with satellites available today and registration already open for the
The DraftStreet Fantasy Spin: Monday, March 3, 2014
Monday finds about half of the NBA in action. The most intriguing matchup of the day is the Bulls-Nets in Brooklyn. Both teams are playing well and are battling for the third though fifth playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. Monday also means that the NBA action at DraftStreet is gearing up for another Wednesday 50K, with satellites from $1 to $11 are in the lobby. The 50K is the largest regular NBA contests in daily fantasy that I am
The DraftStreet Fantasy Spin: Sunday, March 2, 2014
Today’s NBA schedule is split between two afternoon games and five evening contests. Starting us off will be the swooning Knicks, who will try to avoid another Sunday blowout, this time at the hands of the Bulls. DraftStreet has daily fantasy NBA contests including all seven games, closing early, and later one encompassing only the five evening starts. Irrespective of whether you prefer Salary Cap or Pick’em formats, there are large guaranteed prize pool (GPP) contests available. If you don’t
Fantasy Spin: Saturday, March 1, 2014
Several high scoring games in the NBA last night led to fat fantasy stat lines at DraftStreet : it took well over 300 DraftStreet points to get the top spots in most contests last night. Both Goran Dragic/PNX and Anthony Davis/NOP were game-time decisions last night, and both had monster games. Dragic made the Pelicans defense look silly. The Bulls reaffirmed their status as a rising power with a comfortable win over Dallas, while the Knicks’ swoon continued. The Spurs took

Fantasy Spin: Thursday, February 27, 2014
Another Big Wednesday has ended and several DraftStreet players are thousands of dollars richer. The third Wednesday 50K went off with 2,107 runners, not enough to avoid several thousand in overlay. The Magic ended their road losing streak and completed the Sixers’ February bagel (no wins, 11 losses). Golden State was manhandled by the Bulls, further proof that Chicago will be a danger team come playoff time. The Thunder lost their third straight home game, coinciding with the return of
