Most of the big name players in action last night came through with big games, and there were a few crucial sleepers that bolstered one’s chances in daily fantasy leagues at DraftStreet. LeBron James/MIA was King of the Hill, as the Heat needed every bit of his production to oust the Warriors 111-110. Kevin

PODCAST: Lionel Hollins wants to coach the Detroit Pistons
I was a guest on Sirius XM’s NBA show today, which was co-hosted by former Memphis Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins. Turning the tables, I opened the segment — even though I was the interviewee — by asking Hollins why he wasn’t in Detroit taking command of the Pistons after the firing of Maurice Cheeks. Hollins came right out and said he is interested in the job, but that nobody from Detroit had reached out to contact him. [Read more…]
Fantasy Spin: Wednesday, February 12, 2014
Chris Kaman/LAL confirmed that he is capable of putting up big fantasy numbers against the right opponents in the Lakers’ system. It wasn’t Kevin Durant’s/OKC finest hour (eight turnovers), but his 36 points was enough to lead the Thunder to an important psychological win over Portland. The Atlanta Hawks are on the road Tuesday night facing the Chicago Bulls, the team his airness Michael Jordan put on the map with six championships in the 1990s. With their hometown set to embrace snowpocalypse 2.0, they begin a three-game road trip that ends after the NBA All-Star break. The game against the Bulls didn’t start so well, however.
