Longtime popular Formula 1 race car driver Michael Schumacher is in critical condition with sever brain trauma from a fall sustained while skiing at the French Alpine resort of Meribel early Sunday morning. Schumacher, who turns 45 on Friday, and his 14-year-old son were skiing a challenging section of trails with very wide and steep snowfields when he fell and struck the right side of his head on a rock.
