Really, Dwayne? Th Heat have mastered excessive celebration, and now they want to complain about somebody else? Let’s take this Pacers win into context: They beat the Heat in Miami, no easy task; they tied the series 1-1, a series in which many people counted them out of; the Heat are now 0-1 in the playoffs without Chris Bosh. How much will the Heat miss Bosh? Only time will tell, but I do not like the early indications.
You know what’s a scary thought? The Heat may win the East with just LeBron James and Dwayne Wade. They literally don’t need anybody else. I mean yes, Chalmers is a nice scoring option, Battier plays good defense, and guys like Haslem and Joel Anthony have been serviceable down low. But let’s be honest, you could place LeBron and Wade on the Bobcats, and they would still put up a massive fight for the best team in the East.
Talk about no remorse. The match-up between Harden and World Peace is shaping out to be the most anticipated one in the series, possibly even outshining Kobe, Durant, etc. It’s not that I expect them to break out and score 30 a piece; James Harden has the potential to do so, but it still remains highly unlikely. But knowing a fight could break out between them at any moment (or at least a hard shove or physical gesture of
Game 7. There’s no comparison. Winner goes on, losers go home. This weekend we have two: Lakers-Nuggets, Clippers-Grizzlies.Personally, I like the Lakers to finish off the Nuggets, riding on the heels of 35+ from Kobe. On the other hand, I have a feeling the Grizzlies are going to pull out Game 7 at home, followed by a roar of cheers from their home crowd. It will be an exciting weekend for basketball, so enjoy!
It’s official, James Harden has won the sixth man award. He averaged 16.8 points per game, which led all NBA reserves. Lou Williams and Jason Terry finished second and third, respectively. Williams, who averaged 14.9 points per game, had 231 points, and Jason terry, who averaged 15.1 points a game, finished at a distant third with 81 points.
With the Clippers down 16 with about 10 minutes left in the third, something must be said about Chris Paul’s poor performance. If it’s a jammed finger, so be it. However, if this so-called injury does linger, the Clippers must find another scoring option to step up. Paul is a leader on the court regardless, but if he is having a bad night, the Clippers need somebody, besides Blake Griffin, to go off. Just Saying.
I mean, I guess that’s just Kobe. I have a little problem with the whole “I”bailed us out” thing (even though he really did), but who am I to question Kobe? The man has 5 rings, so if anyone knows what it takes to win an NBA Championship, it’s him. That being said, they better take care of these Nuggets. Game 6 in Denver will be a tough one, especially on the road, and giving the Nuggets a Game
So who’s more likely to hang around for one more game, the Hawks or the Bulls. Personally, I am shocked of how far the Bulls have fallen without Rose. I didn’t think the Sixers had a shot to beat the Bulls (even without Rose), and being up 3-1 is certainly something I didn’t see coming. As for the Hawks, they do have Marvin Williams and Al Horford tonight, so I think they have the best shot at taking game
