Everybody by now is aware of the amazing comeback of the Clippers by now. It was extremely impressive, even if it was accompanied by the loss of Caron Butler for the rest of the playoffs. The Knicks got blown out (literally) today in Miami, losing 100-67. Sadly enough, the game was worse then the score even showed. Carmelo Anthony did nothing, Novak couldn’t find any space, and the Knicks were just a collective mess. However, regardless of the outcome, I would have held out hope for the Knicks. This seems to be one of those statistics that LeBron James critics would feed off of. However, it is worth mentioning, the only other players other than James himself to win multiple MVP’s and never win a championship are Karl Malone and Steve Nash, two of the all-time greats. We all know James is great, nobody is denying that. But if he does win his third MVP and flunks again in the playoffs, well, there really is no excuse.

Interesting, as this game has had little to no defense whatsoever. Durant has 18 points already (6:18, 2nd Quarter), and the DeMarcus Cousins has 16. The score is 52-47 Kings, but the scoring barrage has at least slowed a bit. They had a combined 75 points in the first quarter, while the Heat-Celtics game had 17 in the first combined. Maybe the Thunder are just taking this game easy and getting ready for the playoffs, so I’m not reading
