Personally, Shawn Marion was my Defensive Player of the Year even before Cuban said this. He has been a fantastic defender for years, and has really stepped up this year defending opposing teams main scorers. The Mavericks are a different team with him on the court, and when facing teams like the Lakers, his immense defensive presence has been an absolute difference maker. He’s my DPOY right now.

In quite possibly an early matchup of this year’s NBA Finals, the Thunder put on a show for their home crowd by beating the Heat by 16. Kevin Durant showed up, nearly posting a triple-double with 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. For those of you who haven’t seen yet, Mickael Pietrus of the Boston Celtics took a bad fall in tonight’s game.While going up for a lay-up, he was fouled hard and snapped his neck and landed on his back pretty bad on the way down. He ended up being taken off by a stretcher, never a sight you want to see. My thoughts and prayers goes out to him and his health, and hopefully the same goes for everyone
