The Thunder are obviously still the best team in the West. There is not much debate there in my mind. However, tonight was a massive statement game by the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs played without Manu Ginobili and newly acquired Stephen Jackson, and still beat the Thunder by 9 points in Oklahoma City. Respect indeed. Following up, T.J. Ford, who was trying to fight through injuries and produce for the Spurs, retired today after suffering a neck injury two weeks ago.
