James, Durant Earn Weekly Honors The Miami Heat?s LeBron James and the Oklahoma City Thunder?s Kevin Durant today were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, Feb. 13, through Sunday, Feb. 19. James led Miami to a 4-0 week, averaging 27.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 2.0 steals. Durant helped Oklahoma City to a 3-1 week which included wins over the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets. Source: Derrick Rose wants to play with Pau Gasol
Derrick Rose has let it be known to Bulls management that we wants to play with Pau Gasol if Chicago is able to swing a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers for the veteran power forward from Spain, a source close to Rose told SheridanHoops.com on Sunday. The Spanish news outlet Marca was the first to report Sunday that Rose has given his blessing for the Bulls to go after Gasol with a package that would be centered around Carlos Boozer
LeBron James wins 35th career Player of the Week Award

Spurs injury update: Ginobili, Splitter out 2 weeks apiece
SAN ANTONIO — If the Spurs are going to maintain their incredible winning streak, they’ll have to do so without two of their top reserves. Manu Ginobili was examined by team physician Dr. David Schmidt today in San Antonio. An MRI confirmed that Ginobili suffered a left internal oblique strain. NEW YORK — See ya after the All-Star break, Rajon. The NBA suspended Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics for two games Monday for throwing a ball at a referee and striking him in the chest.
