NEW YORK – Nobody will ever take Tweet of the Year away from J.R. Smith. (If you click on Tahiry’s booty you can read more about it). But that was last year. This season, he’s making a late push for Sixth Man of the Year. The New York Knicks’ J.R. All season, San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has rested his players during tough stretches of the schedule to have them healthy for the postseason. A sound strategy, no doubt. But it may not be working. The Spurs announced Monday that do-it-all guard Manu Ginobili – who already has missed most of the last two games with a hamstring injury – will be out three to four weeks with a strained right hamstring. NEW YORK — Tyson Chandler, the NBA’s reigning Defensive Player of the Year, has been conspicuous by his absence, even if the Knicks have won seven games in a row entering play on Sunday. Fortunately for the club, the 2013 NBA All-Star broke his silence Sunday night and revealed that he is eyeing a return to the lineup as soon as Tuesday night when the club travels to Miami to battle LeBron James and the Heat.
