Bauman: Carmelo Anthony back on track offensively?
NEW YORK — “It’s not there for him right now,” I said to a fellow reporter to my left as I watched Carmelo Anthony miss short on a 14-foot leaner on his ninth field goal attempt of the game with 3:50 remaining in the first half. And then… All of a sudden… It was there for Carmelo Anthony… It was everywhere for Anthony. [Read more…]
Hamilton: Knicks Take Boston in What Was Secretly a ‘Must Win’ Game
“Must win” is probably one of the more overused expressions among NBA fans, and especially Knicks fans. But Thursday night in Boston, it would have been appropriate. A release from the Suns said an interim will be named in the next 24 to 48 hours. [Read more…]

Tweet of the Day: Chris Herring (Wall Street Journal)
Carmelo Anthony has been fasting for more than two weeks. For spiritual reasons. Just a guess, but I imagine that includes no Honey Nut Cheerios? [Read more…]
SH Blog: Garnett allegedly said Anthony’s wife tastes like cereal, Love and Varejao to miss significant time
Nobody can say no to Honey Nut Cheerios? It probably wasn’t exactly in those words, but it’s close enough to describe what Kevin Garnett may have said to Carmelo Anthony about his wife LaLa (Vazquez) Anthony to push him over the top. Garnett apparently picked a very poor time to use Anthony’s wife as a method of trash talk, according to Marianne Garvey of Daily News: Carmelo Anthony lost his cool after Boston Celtics bigmouth Kevin Garnett reportedly said his wife “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios”
