Five Things To Watch: Minnesota Timberwolves
Seven years ago, the Minnesota Timberwolves traded their prized power forward (Kevin Garnett) across conferences to the Boston Celtics. This Eastern Conference squad had made headlines a few weeks earlier, acquiring a superstar wing (Ray Allen) to accompany the team’s lone All-Star (Paul Pierce). This summer, the Timberwolves traded their prized power forward (Kevin Love) across conferences to the Cleveland Cavaliers. SH Blog: New Zealand drops heartbreaker to Turkey; T’Wolves break season ticket record
Nobody warned me that the first day of the World Cup coincided with the first day of college football. Instead of watching my Maryland Terrapins thump James Madison by 45 in a total mismatch, I could have watched Team USA demolish Finland by 59 in a total mismatch. Okay, maybe I made the right choice. Tomorrow, though, the US has Turkey, who weren’t gifted a tournament spot because the guy who made Angry Birds said he wanted them to be in
Tweet of the Day: A New Era Begins In Minnesota
Over the weekend, Kevin Love was officially traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The trade brought an end to more than a month of media speculation. Love joins LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in Cleveland, forming arguably the best trio in the NBA

But that doesn’t mean Saunders can’t discuss those deals or another possible trade with the Golden State Warriors, whose proposal does
EXCLUSIVE: Bulls have offered Gibson, McDermott and Mirotic for Love
The Chicago Bulls have offered a package of Taj Gibson and rookies Doug McDermott and Nikola Mirotic to the Minnesota Timberwolves for All-Star forward Kevin Love, a league source told SheridanHoops.com on Wednesday. The package is extremely intriguing to the Timberwolves, but there is a catch; it cannot be completed for another 29 days because McDermott and Mirotic signed their rookie contracts Tuesday. NBA rules prohibit rookies from being traded within the first 30 days of inking their rookie deals. That could
SH Blog: Cavs and Bulls battling for Kevin Love; Doc wants out if Sterling stays; Mirotic highest paid European rookie
The Chicago Bulls, along with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets are now reportedly all in the mix for Kevin Love.
