Thunder Fall Apart A lot of ridiculous things have happened this postseason, but the Los Angeles Clippers erasing a 16-point fourth quarter deficit to the Oklahoma City Thunder could take the cake. The Clips were in a near must-win situation but picked up a Game 4 victory 102-99, and evened the series up at 2-2. For an early afternoon tipoff in LA, the Thunder seemed well rested to start the game, breaking out to a 20-point first quarter lead. Hitting their first

With only two game days left before the NBA playoffs begin, literally anything can happen. Over the next two days, six playoff matchups will be determined. This is a crazy time to play fantasy basketball at DraftStreet. It’s unpredictable and a lot of fun because players will leave it all on the line to leave an impression over the summer. Tonight there are only two NBA games on the schedule. New York Knicks at Brooklyn Nets JR Smith will probably take 30 shots,

If anyone had Minnesota Timberwolves forward Corey Brewer on their DraftStreet fantasy team, chances are they money last night. In 45 minutes of action Brewer recorded 51 points in the Timberwolves win over the Houston Rockets. Maybe Minnesota is fine with Brewer as its star going forward and can let Kevin Love go to Los Angeles right now. Kidding. But seriously, great game. I picked Landry Fields of the Toronto Raptors on my fantasy team, that didn’t go so well.

I didn’t fare well last night with my DraftStreet fantasy team. It’s been a rough go for me in the fantasy basketball world. None of my players did bad, but none did particularly great either. Andre Drummond ($15,850) did well for me. Not his best game but he was still a monster. He had 19 points and 17 rebounds, as a reward I’ve picked him again on another team of mine. Trey Burke was a bit disappointing, he only managed

DeMarcus Cousins and the Sacramento Kings somehow only managed to score 69 points against a battered Golden State Warriors team Friday. Andrew Bogut, David Lee and Festus Ezeli were all out and the Kings didn’t bother to attack the rim. I had Cousins on my DraftStreet fantasy team, he had 19 points and 11 rebounds. Maybe Sacramento was just anxious for Rudy Gay, who is currently anticipation the birth of his first child. But no one on the Kings

At one point last night I thought I would win $1,000 in DraftStreet’s NBA Fantasy League. That didn’t happen for several reasons. Anthony Davis, my most expensive player, left the game early with back spasms. Arron Afflalo couldn’t put the ball in the ocean while playing against the measly defense of the Cleveland Cavs. Besides that, all of my other picks performed well. Today I quickly threw a roster together and will probably make tweaks throughout the day. I contemplated

Paul Pierce killed my DraftStreet.com fantasy team last night. Just when I thought I found someone special for cheap ($11,277) he turns his play around and stabbed me in the back. But I’m a sucker for punishment and I’m using PP again tonight. Last night at DraftStreet I fared pretty well but didn’t make any money. I was in the top 20% in a few of my pools and if Pierce would’ve showed up I probably would have won some

Last night I played in several leagues and came up empty. For some reason I put my faith in Greg Stiemsma (never again) and he didn’t even grab a rebound. Joakim Noah and LeBron James did well for me, gathering over 80 fantasy points between them. I bought Reggie Evans from Sacramento for only $6,998 and he did work. With 12 rebounds he ended up being one of my more successful players from Monday. To begin the month of April
