San Antonio Spurs swingman Stephen Jackson, Boston Celtics forward Chris Wilcox and Cleveland Cavaliers coach Byron Scott each were fined $25,000 by the NBA on Sunday. UPDATE: Jackson was fined for a hostile tweet directed at Oklahoma City Thunder big man Serge Ibaka. Currently sidelined by an injury, Jackson apparently watched Friday’s Lakers-Thunder game on ESPN and didn’t like what he saw. Spurs GM R.C. Kyrie Irving out a month with finger fracture
Cleveland Cavaliers star guard Kyrie Irving will miss a month recovering from a hairline fracture in his left index finger. The said Irving had an MRI and CT scan Monday at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health that revealed the non-displaced fracture. Irving will not have surgery but rather will be treated with taping and a splint. Irving is expected to miss four weeks. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks, when his status will be updated.
