Last night the Bucks staved off elimination but the Pelicans were swept. Three more teams face the same fate on Sunday. [Read more…]
Sprung: Spurs are living and dying with/without Kawhi Leonard
Where would the San Antonio Spurs be this season without Kawhi Leonard? To answer my own question, probably out of the playoff picture. In a Western Conference where the 8th-seeded New Orleans Pelicans are seven games over .500, the Spurs are 33-16 with Leonard and just 9-9 without him. Leonard leads the team in scoring, defensive rating and minutes per game. There’s an immense difference in Leonard’s stats in Spurs wins and losses, to the point where an off night can torpedo

Nevertheless, here’s Adrian Wojnarowski of

It’s just another manic Monday. The NBA features nine games, several of them involving heavy favorites. Injuries and possible fatigue cloud the DFS picture, especially in New Orleans. It’s always important to check breaking news, critical tonight. [Read more…]
Fantasy Spin: Warriors, Cavaliers Worth Their Salaries
It was an unusual Monday night in the NBA. Two games were postponed by a severe winter storm in New York, early enough in the day for DFS players to reset lineups. Kevin Durant (toe) sitting out made a bigger, last-minute impact at DraftKings. Scoring was low everywhere, except for Anthony Davis, who helped many of us win a few bucks. [Read more…]
