When the Sheridan Hoops Freeroll passed 700 entries on Friday morning, there was no question about a new record. By mid-afternoon there were 950 teams, and a late flurry pushed the final number to 1,068. “PrincessDuckling” overcame those 1,067-1 odds to win the $100 first prize, edging “edwind3” (who won 60 bucks) by just three-quarters of a point.
