Dwight Howard/HOU and Jeremy Lin/HOU put up monster fantasy numbers, but their Rockets lost to the Sixers in overtime. Kevin Martin/MIN was a surprise scratch due to flu, but Kevin Love/MIN and Ricky Rubio/MIN led the Timberwolves to an easy win over the Cavaliers. It was an odd day in NBA fantasy leagues, as three of the four games were blowouts. Only a handful of starters played significant minutes in the fourth quarter, resulting in a dearth of high stat totals. The NBA saved the best for last, as the Timberwolves and Clippers played a tight game. decided in the final seconds. The key players on both sides came through, especially Kevin Love/MIN, who displayed a rare combination of rebounding and outside shooting prowess that left the Clippers TV announcers speechless at times.
