Glen Davis: “The thing we’re going to miss most about Dwight is his farting ability.” — Josh Robbins (@JoshuaBRobbins) October 2, 2012 OK, this is a cheap laugh. But it also isn’t. Infamous “Pull my finger” Sports Illustrated cover You see, Dwight’s affinity for flatulence is well-chronicled, and there is a reason why he is holding out his finger in this Sports Illustrated cover photo. SH Blog: Knicks and Nets talk championship, Tyreke Evans and Blake Griffin talk jump shot
Media Day is in full swing for a number of teams, which means we will be flooded with quotes in the next few days or so about championship desires, expectations of making the playoffs (even if your team has no shot at it) and players claiming they can shoot the ball now. Heisler: The Lake Show is Back on the Air
The Lakers are back? If they made it to another Media Day, they made it back from the summer, anyway. Don’t laugh. Some seasons around here, that was an issue, like 2007-08, when Kobe Bryant, who had spent the summer demanding a trade, swore privately he wouldn’t report and didn’t say anything publicly until showing up that morning.
