Kings to acquire Rudy Gay in seven-player deal

Rudy Gay, who has one of the most overbearing contracts in the NBA, reportedly has been traded for the second time in less than a year. Yahoo! Sports reported Sunday night that a seven-player deal is being finalized that would have the Toronto Raptors send Gay and the $37 million remaining on his contract to the Sacramento Kings. Wizards’ Bradley Beal out at least two weeks with leg injury

Bad news for the Wizards, who have yet to see a minute of No. 3 pick Otto Porter. Here’s the press release: The Washington Wizards announced today that guard Bradley Beal has been diagnosed with a stress injury to his proximal right fibula.  He will miss the next two weeks and then be re-evaluated.   The injury was diagnosed by team doctors following an MRI exam on Monday after Beal experienced soreness in his right leg. Derrick Rose does not have another torn ACL but does need surgery

First, the good news, Derrick Rose does not have another torn ACL. Now, the bad news. Rose does have a medial meniscus tear in his right knee that requires surgery and is out indefinitely. The superstar guard of the Chicago Bulls somewhat dodged a bullet Saturday as an MRI taken in Los Angeles revealed torn cartilage but not a torn ligament.
